June 16, 2014 - Third-party logistics provider Kane Is Able, Inc. (KANE -- www.kaneisable.com ) announced today that Jim McMurphy has joined KANE as its new Senior Vice President of Technology. Jim leads the strategy and execution of all technology responsibilities across 21 nationwide offices and distribution centers. He reports to KANE President and CEO Pete Westermann.
“Jim has a wealth of experience in leading technology services at mid-market CPG companies,” notes Westermann. “We are excited to have him join us as we continue to increase our focus on technology solutions across our business.”
McMurphy has almost thirty years of experience in the information technologies field. Prior to joining KANE, he served at Scintel, Innotrac, Capital One, and Mattel. McMurphy attended University of Missouri, and received a bachelor of science in marketing and a MBA in finance.
